Research the adult size, temperament, diet and compatibility of every fish before purchase. Add livestock only to a fully cycled aquarium and avoid sudden changes in temperature or salinity.

Temperature: 24–26°C. Salinity: approximately 1.024–1.026 SG. Ammonia: 0. Nitrite: 0. Keep nitrate controlled with regular maintenance.

Feeding

Feed a varied diet appropriate to the species. Offer small portions and avoid leaving uneaten food in the aquarium.

Introducing new fish

Acclimate carefully, reduce stress and check compatibility with existing livestock. Quarantine new fish where possible.
